Bigfork Film Festival seeking movie vets

| January 26, 2017 4:00 AM

The organizers of the Bigfork Film Festival are looking for Flathead Valley residents with experience in the movie industry to share their stories during this fall’s event.

Founder Steve Shapero started the festival last year as an exhibition for classic films. This year, he’s hoping to add a number of speakers to the docket, anyone from producers and directors to actors, technical crew, writers and more. Local residents interested in participating are asked to contact Shapero at bigforkfilmfestival@yahoo.com before the end of March. Speakers will be provided with gifts and receive all-access passes.

The second-annual festival is Oct. 5-8, with films screened at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts. For more information, visit www.bigforkfilmfestival.com.
