Woman threatened with fork over Legos

A woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report that her teenage son was running around the house threatening her with a fork. The argument started over Legos. The son allegedly grabbed his mother around the neck and threw her down. He also reportedly threw a boot at his sister before calming down and returning to his room.

A man reported that he believed he had found his stolen truck in Marion near Jackson Meadows Road. The truck was reported stolen in August. The vehicle, which was unable to be recovered at the time due to weather, was possibly a total loss.

A caller reported that an underage party with about 50 children was occurring at a home on Addison Square.

A Columbia Falls man who was having issues with his son reported that he was concerned about his son’s mental health. The man said his son believed his father was “eating a sandwich that would possess him with a demon,” and an argument followed. The man was counseled and provided with contact numbers and hotlines for area mental health professionals.

A woman on Boorman Lane was bitten by a dog. Her skin was not broken. Officers on scene issued a citation to the owners of the dog.

A caller reported that a woman who was slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle was possibly drunk or under the influence of something. Police were unable to locate the woman.

A woman called to report suspicious activity when she was cleaning at several local businesses. She reported that two young men in hoodies were following her from business to business. While cleaning a business in Evergreen, the two men were hanging out around her vehicle and the woman reported that she later saw them put their hands in an ATM slot. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

Someone called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report that the railroad crossing arms on Second Avenue West were malfunctioning. The arms were down and the lights were on but no train was coming. A BNSF Railway technician was dispatched and the arms were fixed.

A woman called to report that a pickup truck that parks across the street from her residence each morning was parked outside her house again. The woman believed there to be kids inside potentially doing drugs. She requested that officers respond before the truck left again.

A woman on Iowa Avenue called the Whitefish Police Department to report that her dog was hit by a car. The car did not stop, and the woman reported that the car had almost run her over when she tried to make them slow down before hitting her dog.

A caller reported that someone had ripped out a headlight on her truck the previous night. The caller was given a case report number for insurance, but no other damage was reported.

Someone reported that a woman in the hospital was being disruptive, yelling at staff and refusing to leave. Officers were dispatched and the woman agreed to wait in the lobby.
