Police respond to sticky situation

A woman reportedly attacked her daughter, tackling her to the ground and putting glue all over her, according to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. The reporting person said it took three people to get the woman off her daughter.

A black lab/border collie mix was found on Hodgson Road and taken to the county shelter.

A man was arrested following a report by a witness who allegedly saw him hit his girlfriend’s vehicle with his own at her residence off U.S. 93 South while the woman’s children were inside her vehicle. The witness believed the man had hit the woman’s vehicle intentionally.

A man reported a group of three large men on his property, destroying things with sledgehammers. The man did not offer further information.

A couple was reportedly caught on camera stealing mail from a mailbox on Mackinaw Way. The reporting person said he took a picture of the suspect vehicle, its license plate and the possible suspects inside.

Two Bear Air was called to Clearwater County for an air rescue after a logger was reportedly injured on the job.

A steer was allegedly grazing in a pasture when he decided to go for a swim. The steer reportedly swam across the river diving his pasture from his neighbor’s property.

A man reported his boat propeller stolen.

Someone reported two drivers for riding up and down Rose Crossing, shooting out of the vehicles’ windows.

A pontoon raft was reported stolen from a bar in Columbia Falls. The owner state the raft was last seen in the parking lot. The raft was later found in the middle of the road on Rose Crossing. No suspects have been identified.

Two men allegedly stole a beer from a grocery store, according to a Kalispell Police report. While reporting the alleged theft, the caller was reportedly rude with dispatch. The man was informed that the person who took the call was in training and trying to get the most accurate information possible.

Someone reportedly broke into a gate one a man’s property and stole the steps to his motor home.

A woman reported a man for banging on her door late at night. She said she believed the man may have slept in her yard because she saw him nearby early the next morning.

Two sets of keys were reportedly stolen from a vehicle.
