Slow ride: Old cars back up traffic

| July 21, 2017 11:09 PM

A driver called Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to complain about a string of Model T cars that were allegedly backing up traffic between Bigfork and Kalispell.

A caller said a woman allegedly ripped the back door off his house with her bare hands. The suspect reportedly left the scene on foot.

A female reported one of her husband’s employees who was not supposed to be on their property allegedly showed up there. She said he was known to carry a small handgun and was possibly stealing from her husband. She observed him allegedly loading items into a truck. The reporting party was allegedly yelling at the suspect.

An individual reported their daughter had been taken by her grandparents without permission. The child was allegedly taken out of state Saturday. Dispatch referred the caller to the local civil court.

A caller reported the birth father of her foster son was allegedly driving by her residence and looking in the windows. The caller said she would apply for a temporary restraining order.

A caller reported their neighbor’s behavior was becoming increasingly aggressive. She said he allegedly started texting her and calling her a “whackjob.”

An individual reportedly found a body in Edmonton matching the description of a Kalispell man.

Dispatch received a call from a small child who allegedly stated his house was on fire. He could not provide an address, but instead stated, “you’ll see it, it’s smoking.” When asked why his phone was mapped to a different location than where he said he was at, he hung up.

An individual contacted the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to report their daughter was allegedly snorting fumes on their property again and requested officer assistance. An officer responded to the scene and arrested the female in question.
