Van man makes relationship problems public

An individual contacted the Whitefish Police Department to report a suspicious male who allegedly stepped out of his van yelling profanities and then urinated. An officer spoke with the male in question who allegedly appeared intoxicated and told the officer he was pouring out a water bottle, not urinating, and was yelling because of reported relationship problems. The officer took the man’s keys.

Two dogs were reportedly tied to a wrecked vehicle with very little rope and no food. The caller stated the only water the dogs were getting was from passersby. An officer responded to the scene and found the dogs did have water and that the vehicle had been involved in a rollover crash.

A male took a female’s keys and refused to give them back. The dispute was allegedly over the fact that the male wanted to drive the rental car. The caller said the male in question grabbed her arm while they were inside the vehicle. The male took a taxi to the airport.

A female was allegedly yelling about spiders in her hair while she was attempting to check in at a local hotel. She was later spotted at the end of the hotel parking lot and reportedly took a pill.The female stated it was seizure medication.

A panhandler was reportedly seen behind a local business drinking alcohol and carrying a sword. The male in question and another individual were moved along by an officer.

A driver called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report the driver of a blue Dodge pickup was allegedly swerving and smoking marijuana as they passed the caller.
