Michael Wayne Potter, 53

Michael Wayne Potter, 53, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly July 29, 2017.

He was born Nov. 23, 1963, to Allen and Marlene Potter in Coram.

Michael “Mike” enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping but, most of all, spending time with his wife Nancy Potter and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Potter; children, Brad and Quincy Ottwell, Ashlie Potter, Kyle Potter and Amanda Dilling; parents, Allen and Marlene Potter; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Kathy Birnel; brother, Bob Potter; sister, Rhonda Tripp; and second brother, Donny Lietz.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Bud Ottwell.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at New Life Church Shelby. It will be potluck. All are welcome.
