Bruce G. Gibson, 81

Bruce G. Gibson, 81, of Kalispell, passed away on June 7, 2017.

He was born on Feb. 12, 1936, in Butte. He was married to his high school sweetheart, UDonna, for 61 years. Bruce grew up in Butte and was a proud member of the Butte High School Band, where he graduated from in 1954.

He attended Montana State University in Bozeman, earning a degree in accounting in 1958. Bruce and UDonna raised their family in Seattle where Bruce worked as a certified public accountant for Bekins Moving and Storage and then Lyon Van Lines until retirement when they moved to Kalispell in 2001.

Bruce was an avid sports fan and deeply enjoyed trips to the Paci?c Ocean, traveling along the coastline where his family will scatter his ashes at a later date.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, UDonna; their three daughters, Jill Denny of Butte, Leanne Gibson of Frenchtown, and Marcia Ham and husband Dan of Columbia Falls; grandchildren, Craig, Michelle (husband Will), Sarah (husband Josh) and Brian (wife Echo); great-grandchildren, Nakayla, Graysen and Emery; and sister Nancy Geschke and brother Robert Rundell.
