Police called after woman bares all

Kalispell Police Department responded after a woman was reported for indecent exposure for allegedly flashing and then stripping in the second floor hallway of a building. The woman was described as “cooperative but animated.”

Police received a report of a mother who was allegedly intoxicated at a children’s martial arts tournament. Authorities were again alerted when the woman drove away.

Someone reported a “ringing sound” coming from a home on Boise Avenue.

A man required medical assistance after another man allegedly assaulted him near Appleway Drive.

Someone reported a large sinkhole forming on Sixth Avenue West where a sewer was dug out last year. Authorities placed cones and caution tape around the hole.

Clothes, a baggie of marijuana and syringes were reportedly found in a duffel bag left behind at a school on West Idaho Street. Authorities collected the materials.

A woman allegedly stole a pair of shoes from the mall.

Officers picked up a brown and white pit bull found on East Idaho Street. The dog was taken to the county shelter.

A reckless driver was reported on 18th Street East. The driver was said to have numerous knives and a gun on his front seat.

A lost border collie reportedly hopped into a woman’s car, expecting a ride home. The woman, unsure of where to take the dog, offered to keep it at her home on Fifth Avenue East until authorities could pick it up.

Someone reported being followed by a white truck for about an hour around the Hutton Ranch area.

When a woman allegedly flipped off a reckless driver, she claimed he proceeded to run her off the road, got out of his car, screaming, and spat in her face.

A man who recently reported his gun stolen told police he found it in his couch cushions at home.

The window of a business on North Main Street was reportedly shot out with a BB gun.

A small white poodle was caught while playing in traffic on First Avenue East. A pedestrian who found the dog volunteered to look for the owner.

A resident of East Washington Street claimed his snow blower was stolen out of his carport.

Someone reported their son’s wallet, sweater and car keys stolen from a location on West Center Street.

A man was allegedly caught urinating behind City Hall.

Officers collected several syringes that were found on Financial Drive.

A man reported the death of his dog to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, believing residents in his neighborhood in the Gunsite Loop area had poisoned it. The man stated the 15-year-old dog had been coughing and lethargic before he died.

A Columbia Falls resident claimed a hotel on Gordon Avenue had a water pump that was pumping water onto his property, flooding his garage.

A Lake County deputy reported debris on a roadway at Ferndale Drive and U.S. 209. Responding officers found several pieces of cardboard in the street with a business name on it. Authorities contacted employees of the business, who said they had a recyclable cardboard theft the night before but had not reported it.

Someone reported a reckless driver on Mountain Meadow Road and requested an extra patrol. The man also had numerous complaints about suspicious people in the area reportedly shooting near and at his property. He then informed officers that there was a drug problem, prostitution and human trafficking in the Flathead Valley.

A driver’s license and debit card were recovered at a hotel in Columbia Falls near U.S. 2 East.

A male blue heeler was found on a resident’s property on Farm to Market Road with a collar but no tags or microchip. The dog was taken to the county shelter.

A Columbia Falls man reported a large number of feral cats roaming his neighborhood on Fir Lane.

Someone found a brindle lab/pit bull mix near Dillon Road in Columbia Falls. Authorities took the dog to the county shelter.

Two rifles were reported stolen from a storage unit on U.S. 2 West in Kila.

A homeless basset hound was found on East Evergreen Drive in Kalispell. The woman who found him claimed he barked and growled at her when she tried to shoo him away.

Someone reported seeing a man kick in the back door of a store on Grand Drive in Bigfork. The man was reportedly also throwing trash around in an alley.

Someone reported a large pothole flattened their vehicle’s tire on Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls. The person told the Columbia Falls Police Department he wanted the hole flagged, so no one else would damage their vehicles.

An officer “utilized his ninja-like unlocking skills” to help a woman who had locked herself out of her car, according to a Whitefish Police report.

A Whitefish resident reported getting a “creepy” phone call from an unknown caller. She claimed the caller was a male with a deep voice who had asked her what she was doing.
