Harriet Rosen, 77

Harriet Rosen, 77, of Kalispell, passed away from complications of kidney cancer on March 10, 2017.

Harriet was born Jan. 16, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to Morris and Lillian Zinn. She grew up in both New York and the Los Angeles area, graduating from Van Nuys High School.

She married Mark Rosen in Los Angeles in 1958. Harriet was a loving homemaker that enjoyed involvement in numerous community charitable organizations in the Los Angeles area, and later in life in Kalispell.

Harriet and her husband worked together at their resale store, “Best Quality Resale” in Evergreen where they both enjoyed working with people. She loved supporting her two daughters and later raised her granddaughter.

Harriet is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Mark Rosen, daughters Sherri Rosen and Cindy Rosen, granddaughter Helena Weaver (Schyler Sonju) with expecting great-granddaughter, and brother David Zinn.

Harriet was loved by a wide circle of friends and brightened everyone’s life with her humor and love.
