The Bigfork Art and Cultural Center’s newest exhibition, “Artist’s Choice” featuring 27 Montana artists, craftsmen and photographers, opens Friday, May 26.

The exhibit will run through June 17, with a free opening reception May 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. Most of the artists exhibiting are expected to attend the opening reception.

The center initially chose 13 artists to be included in the exhibit and each was invited to bring an additional artist along to join them. Artists chose a wide range of people to add to the exhibit, from mentors to students to simply artists they admire.

Those featured in the show are: Rob Akey, Carl Ambrose, Loren Arsen, Dana Beradinis, Mya Bessette, Morgan Cawdrey, Julie Christopher, Dee Dee Cooper, Francesca Droll, Charlie Fudge, Lauren Grabelle, Jill Gottschalk, Tabby Ivy, William Jasper, Allen Jimmerson, Celestia Kikegaard, Tom Lewis, Lynon Lohof, Jeff Manion, Darlene Morgan, Jeanette Rehahn, Tom Saubert, Joann Sleadd, Robin Sorg, Sally Vannoy and Kenneth Yarus.
