Man calls deputies about doorbell pranksters

A resident of Marjorie Street told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office he was sick of being ding-dong ditched. The man said a group of juveniles had been repeatedly running up to his house and ringing the doorbell before running away. The man warned that he had bear spray and intended to start using it, despite authorities advising him not to spray children.

Two horses, a goat and a poodle were reportedly walking down Turtle Mountain Road. The woman who called deputies was not telling a joke, but wanted to notify authorities of the animals’ escape. All animals were returned safely to their owner.

After parking overnight on the side of Gosney Crossroad, a man reportedly woke up to find his truck missing, with two rifles, a cooler and a bag of groceries inside. After reporting the vehicle stolen, the man was informed the vehicle had been towed and the groceries probably spoiled.

A woman in a fast-food restaurant noticed a male leaving after spending a long time in the bathroom. The woman became suspicious, went in and found a white crystal substance in a bag had been left behind.

A dog was found on Conrad Road and taken to the county shelter for the third day in a row. The owner was issued another citation for having a dog at large.

A female driver was reported for nearly hitting another vehicle because her passenger side window was completely blocked with paper. The woman allegedly had an infant in the back seat.

A woman was allegedly beaten up in a store bathroom by two other women. One of the suspects called authorities to inform them that the incident had been made up.

Three elderly men were reported for stealing children’s sculptures after scoping out an art studio, according to Whitefish Police.

A woman allegedly found a note on her front porch that read, “I’m coming for you. You’re crazy and weird.” Kalispell Police determined the note was a prank but conducted an extra parole of the area through the night.

A school bus was reported for running a red light on North Meridian Road. The reporting person told authorities the bus stopped at the light but then kept going before the light turned green.

The owner of a dead dog reported its alleged killer for shooting the pup with a high-powered pellet gun on Callahan Creek Road, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

A rogue shopping cart was reportedly found on Spencer Road.

Three backpacks were found on Cedar Creek Road.

A man reported a break in after someone allegedly entered his shop on U.S. 2 and took several items.
