Wendy Arlene Rhoades, 51

Wendy Arlene Rhoades, 51, of Kalispell, peacefully passed away May 14, 2017, in her home.

She was born Aug. 9, 1965, in Washington, D.C.

Wendy spent her youth in northeast Maryland and Duluth, Minnesota. She married Jacob Rhoades, of Battle Ground, Washington, on July 6, 1985. They lived in Yacolt, Washington, until 1998 and then moved to Kalispell. She was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Jacob Rhoades, with their 13 children, Shannon, Paul (Chantel), Lon, Sid (Stacy), Keevin, Sonya, Troy, Chad, Sally, Sylvia, Krissy, Lance and Triss; eight grandchildren; parents, Stanley and Arlene Simonson; four sisters and one brother, with their spouses; father-in-law, Christopher Rhoades; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of Christian friends and relatives.

There will be a visitation for Wendy from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday May 18, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lakeside, with services to be held the following day Friday, May 19, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow services at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell.
