A woman who was found to be in violation of her probation for distributing dangerous drugs has also been charged with possession of dangerous drugs.

Robin Jean Sudan, 34, of Kila, agreed to plead guilty to violating her probation and admitting guilt to the charge of possessing of dangerous drugs in exchange for dismissing a charge of using and sharing drugs inside the Flathead County Detention Center with two other inmates, according to court documents.

The felony charge of criminal distribution of drugs and transferring illegal articles arose when a corporal located a note from an inmate stating that Sudan and two other inmates had been using drugs in the bathroom stall at the detention center the night before, according to court documents.

According to a statement by one of the inmates, Sudan had come into the cell on March 31, 2017 and brought “dope” with her. The three inmates then reportedly went into the bathroom to snort methamphetamine off of a piece of paper. Video footage showed the inmates talking and going to the bathroom together for several minutes, according to court documents. One of the inmates who had been incarcerated since Oct. 29, 2016, reportedly gave a urine sample that showed a positive result for methamphetamine.

Sudan’s possession of dangerous drugs conviction comes with a five-year term with the Department of Corrections. Her previous conviction of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, comes with a consecutive term of five years suspended with the Department of Corrections.
