| October 14, 2017 8:37 PM

Andrea Mishelle Spicher, 25, of Kalispell, passed away on Oct. 9, 2017, with her family by her side at Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe, Texas, from complications from an injury she suffered in 2012.

Andrea was born on March 4, 1992, in Great Falls. She lived in Fairfield until she was 5, when her family relocated to Conrad. She resided there until 2008 when her family moved to Kalispell. Andrea was a National Honor Society student, active in many activities, and a state golf competitor all through her high school career.

Andrea is survived by her parents, Julie and Dan Spicher; brother, Michael Spicher; grandparents, James and Verda Krause, and Joyce Spicher; and many beloved uncles, aunts and cousins.

Andrea fought and worked extremely hard and successfully to overcome so many battles resulting from her 2012 injury. She conquered many diagnosed limitations and continued to work toward achieving her goals. Andrea was tremendously aided by the compassionate and energetic continuum of care from the date of her injury until her passing by Dr. Shahin Etebar, Dr. David Williamson, Dr. Kathleen T. Bechtold and Dr. Jessica Mosier.

Prior to her injury, Andrea had been a dean’s list student, pursuing a cellular and molecular biology degree at Montana Tech in Butte. Andrea was an avid and devoted student and sought to return to her beloved MT Tech.

Andrea was a great lover of life, people and animals. She loved the great outdoors, hiking, running, snowboarding, kayaking, fishing, hunting and golf. Andrea was as comfortable going hunting as she was following her fashion pursuits, and she had an affinity for all things vintage. She enjoyed playing piano, engaging in a raucous game of Shang Hai, art, cooking and music. She was a devoted fan of the Duke Blue Devils and Coach K.

God, her family, friends and country were of the utmost importance to Andrea. Never a more loyal daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, or friend will be found. Her loyalty, strong will and compassion were unparalleled.

Andrea will be sorely missed by all. Her belly laugh and her immense spirit will never be replaced.

“Andrea has taken one final run into the Great Beyond.”

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 21 at New Life Church in Fairfield. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Donations and memorials will be used to create the Andrea Spicher Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to MT Tech students. Donations can be sent to Andrea Spicher Scholarship, 227 McWenneger Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901.
