Evelyn (Riebe) Shepard, 89

Evelyn (Riebe) Shepard passed away Oct. 5, 2017 at Brendan House.

She was born March 3, 1928, to Herbert and Gladys Burnell in Kalispell.

Evelyn was a founding member of the Bible Presbyterian Church and played the piano and organ for several years.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Martin Riebe and Frank Shepard Sr.

She is survived by her son, Arland “Arnie” Riebe, and wife Shirley; three grandchildren, Erik (Anastasiya) Riebe, Martin II (Shannon) Riebe, and Erin (David) Arndt; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister-in-law Patty Burnell, and brother-in-law Frances (Flick) Riebe, Frank’s children Frank Jr. Shepard and

Julie (Shepard) Olson and their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 28 at the Bible Presbyterian Church on Fifth Ave. West and Fourth St. West in Kalispell.

The family requests memorials be sent to the Montana Veterans Home, 400 Veteran Drive, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
