| October 26, 2017 1:55 PM

The Port Polson Players present “Arsenic and Old Lace,” the classic comedy from the 1940s, kicking off the Players’ 43rd season.

A cast of 14 join Liz Grant and Kyle Geyer as sisters Martha and Abby Brewster. According to Players’ Artistic and Managing Directors Karen and Neal Lewing, recent recipients of the Montana Governor’s Award for the Arts, “Arsenic and Old Lace” also kicks off the annual Mission Valley Friends of the Arts fundraiser. Tax-deductible contributions to MVFA go toward renovation and upkeep of the 1938 log theatre on the lake.

The show plays two weekends at the John Dowdall Theatre in Polson, Oct. 27-29, and Nov. 3-5. Curtain on Friday and Saturday is 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults and $15 for students and seniors.
