Hamilton hammers Polson

POLSON — Carson Rostad passed for three touchdowns, ran for two and Declan O’Brien returned a kickoff 95 yards for another score as Hamilton (3-1) hammered Polson 48-6 in Class A nonconference football play Friday night.

Hamilton held a commanding 35-6 lead at the half.

Haden Smith caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Bo Kelley for Polson (0-3).

Polson kicks off Northwestern A play next Friday hosting rival Ronan for homecoming.

RONAN — Dillon tallied touchdowns four different ways in thumping Ronan in a Class A nonconference matchup.

Brent Tezak recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score and caught a pair of touchdown passes — 25 and 30 yards — from Coby King as Dillon (3-0) rolled to a 34-0 halftime lead.

King also threw touchdown passes to Bradley Rakich, 10 yards, and Gabe Kirkley, 7 yards, and King finished the scoring with a 74-yard punt return.

Kirkley also had a 21-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Dillon did not have a rushing touchdown.

Ronan (0-3) opens Northwestern A play next Friday at Polson for a homecoming contest.
