Questions arise amid school threats

| September 17, 2017 11:54 PM

A caller asked the Whitefish Police Department if the city hall was on lock down and whether or not their daughter would be safe to go to work at an ice cream shop given the recent threats made against Flathead Valley schools. Dispatch relayed the message to an officer.

A male reportedly stated he was going to come to a location and smack one of the employees. The man had allegedly just gotten out of jail. An employee at the business told dispatch they would close early and wait for an officer to arrive.

An individual who was dog sitting reported the husky they were watching broke its collar and got away from them. The canine was spotted heading east on Reservoir Road. The caller requested assistance from law enforcement if any officers were in the area. The individual called back later to report they found the dog.

A female said she was allegedly assaulted by two officers who reportedly dragged her out of the women’s restroom at a local bar and shined a flashlight in her eyes. The subjects in question were bouncers from the bar.
