Woman claims she was roughed up

According to the Whitefish Police Department, a woman who had gone to a local nightclub reported that she got more than she deserved when security allegedly grabbed her and tackled her to the floor.

A vehicle owner in Whitefish said a thief almost came away empty-handed. After rummaging through the car, the thief reportedly only came up with some spare change from the glove department.

It was bad news for a bear cub that was struck and killed by a car near Whitefish on Sunday morning.

A Kalispell woman said her ex-boyfriend had a thirst for trouble; when she told him to leave, he allegedly poured Gatorade all over her electronics.

A hotel front desk person needed to brush up on their telecommunication skills when they tried to dial someone about a reservation but called 911 instead. The desk clerk was apologetic about the accidental calls.
