Leslie Ann Lund, 70

| September 23, 2017 9:25 PM

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother Leslie Ann Lund who passed on Sept. 17, 2017.

Leslie was born on March 14, 1947, in Kalispell. She met her husband Curtis Lund in 1967 and they married later that year. They settled in Green River, Wyoming, where they built their family home with their four daughters and son.

Leslie worked for the Forest Service, BLM and Castle Rock Medical Center. Later, Leslie and Curtis moved to Reno, Nevada, to be near their grandchildren. In Reno, Leslie worked for Renown Health for 10 years until her retirement in 2014.

She spent her years since retirement enjoying all of the things she loved most, especially time with her grandchildren and family who adored and cherished her. She made friends wherever she went and was loved by all that knew her.

Leslie and Curtis reached their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Frances Roe. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Lund; four daughters, Lisa (Bill) Hoffman, Amy (Don) Judd, Staci Lund, and Wendy (John) Gray; her son, Christopher Lund; and her seven grandchildren, Cody and Madison Judd, Hailey and Cade Hoffman, and Riley, Lily, and Piper Gray, all who reside in Reno. She is also survived by her two brothers, Richard (Lisa) Roe, and Dan (Jill) Roe of Kalispell; her nephew Tyler Roe, niece Jenna (Craig) Weiseman, and great-niece Harper Weiseman.

The family is grateful for the loving care the nurses, doctors and caregivers in the Trauma ICU at Renown Regional Medical Center gave to Leslie in her last days.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Renown Children’s Miracle Network (www.renown.org/about-us/renown-health-foundation/ways-to-give) in Leslie’s honor.

Condolences can be sent to Walton’s Funeral Home at 875 W. 2nd St, Reno, NV 89503, or you may leave a message on the book of memories at www.waltonsfuneralhomes.com
