HomeGoods to open Kalispell store Oct. 15

The build-out of phase four of Spring Prairie Commons continues with the addition of home décor retailer HomeGoods, which will open a new store in Kalispell at 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 .

The 19,278-square-foot store is located at 2280 U.S. 93 N.

“Our shopping experience is unlike any other retailer,” John Ricciuti, president of HomeGoods, said in a prepared statement. “Our amazing values, designer brands and unique assortment make HomeGoods an exciting destination for shoppers.”

HomeGoods plans to hire store management and associates from the local area, Ricciuti said. The Kalispell store is expected to fill approximately 65 full- and part-time positions.

Merchandise departments include furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, gourmet kitchen, dining, bedding, bath, kid’s décor and toys, outdoor living, pet accessories, storage, workspace and more. HomeGoods offers shoppers inspiration via its blog Design Happy found on Homegoods.com, its app, The Goods, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr.

Regular store hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Special grand opening hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HomeGoods operates more than 570 stores across the country and is a division of The TJX Companies, a leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions. The company operates over 3,862 stores including T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post stores.
