Suspicion raised over last-minute shoppers

Someone told the Kalispell Police Department he thought some potential holiday shoppers looked suspicious. He was concerned about “two male[s] with a bunch of packages” near a storage facility.

A store supervisor found five fraudulent $20 bills over the course of a day.

Two men were seen fighting behind a bar in Kalispell, but neither one wanted to press charges.

A woman was concerned about another woman carrying a lot of luggage at a bus stop.

A man was seen “walking a snowblower” and the person who spotted him believed he appeared to be homeless. The man who reported the allegedly homeless person took a picture of him and the snowblower.

A woman’s purse was stolen from her shopping cart while she was browsing in a store.

The driver of a black vehicle drove the wrong way on a road, then pulled in front of a man’s house and apparently “sat there for some time.”

Someone reported two children who were supposedly under the age of 5 who had been left unattended in a car. It turned out the children were older than the caller originally thought. An adult returned to the car and the family left together.

Someone’s ex-girlfriend threatened to sell nude pictures and videos on social media.

A homeowner reported a “shady, shabby” motorhome parked in front of his house. He said there had been many people “coming and going” to and from the vehicle and he did not want them camping there.

Someone complained about his neighbor “pounding on [his] door” for an unknown reason. Then he changed his report to state the visitor was “knocking, not pounding” and then the door-knocker apparently stopped bothering him.

A fast food drive-thru employee reported a customer to the police for driving with her toddler on her lap.

Someone complained about two men he saw riding bikes near a camper. He described the bike-riders as “creepy” but refused to elaborate any further. The owner of the camper was advised to get the vehicle off city streets by that night.

A woman was seen yelling and screaming at a bus stop. She reportedly did not want any help and said she would move along shortly.

A man called on behalf of his mother, who fell victim to an online scam. She reportedly spent $300 on scam cards online.
