Woman wants ex removed for house cleaning

Kalispell Police Department received a request from a woman to remove her ex-husband from the house they owned together so she could clean it before it was listed to be sold. Dispatchers told the woman police would legally not be able to do this and spoke to the husband who said he would clean the home.

A store employee wanted police to check on the welfare of an elderly woman who had been in the store for two hours and reportedly kept trying to pray with customers and was putting a bunch of artificial flowers in her shopping cart.

Two men sitting in an SUV in an alley were allegedly seen shooting up drugs and loading a pistol by someone looking through binoculars.

Someone was concerned when they saw a woman wearing a tan coat, hat and a camo backpack reportedly looking into vehicles and going through someone’s shed.

A man on probation allegedly shoved a woman down on concrete, causing her hip pain.

A man sleeping in a truck with a camper shell by the side of a building proved problematic for a building resident who told police the noise from the truck was waking them up and exhaust fumes were leaking into their room. The man was moved along.

A man found sleeping on the floor of the police department lobby was told that he needed to be in a chair.

A man with a swollen eye reported a woman beat him up, he didn’t know why, and wanted an ambulance. The woman reportedly said he took her phone.

A man on a bicycle with a red flashing light was reportedly checking out vehicles and raising the suspicions of someone although they didn’t actually see him get into any vehicles.

A man wanted to file a complaint for a false report. He reportedly said he wanted a call from an officer and then “he’ll be in contact with his lawyer.” Dispatchers found it difficult to get information as the man was allegedly talking over them.

Someone told police they took pictures of a man in his 40s or 50s standing by a vehicle if it was needed. The man allegedly approached someone’s 10-year-old son when he got on a bus.

An employee reportedly found a woman sleeping while standing up in the store bathroom. The woman allegedly told a customer she was waiting for her husband, but it was unknown who the husband was or where he was. A report about her doing drugs turned out to be unfounded.

Someone called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report suspicious men in the area. They weren’t found.

A caller said they were the victim of identity theft.

A daughter reported that her father said his ex-girlfriend assaulted him and he wasn’t happy that he wasn’t notified about her release. But she reported that he choked her, broke her phone and cut off her ankle bracelet. An officer investigating witnessed visible marks on her throat and scratches on his face.

A woman said the computer business she started had been hijacked into a non-profit.
