J.W. Hammock, 88

J.W. Hammock, 88, of Kalispell, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

He was born on November 9, 1930, to John Wilbur and Dorris (Parmley) Hammock in Oilton, Okla.

J.W. entered into the Air Force in 1947 and was honorably discharged on November 12, 1951.

He married Jeannette Whetsel on June 21, 1950 in Phoenix, Ariz.

J.W. worked for the Southern Pacific/Santa Fe Pipelines for 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette; daughters, Vivian Hammock-Janoski and husband Henry and Fay Hammock-Purmort and husband Steve; grandchildren, Scott Finch and wife Patrice, Candace Alvarez and husband Anthony, Gregory Voyles, Rebecca Voyles-Roth and husband Rodney; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Julia, Jadon, Serenity, Aveline and Baby Boy---and J.W. was very excited about his arrival; also many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service with family only will be held at a later date.
