The Kalispell Police Department received a report that a driver in a truck dropped a woman off, threw a pair of women’s underwear out the window, and left.

A female driver called the police to report that someone had broken into her unlocked car. Instead of stealing anything, the guilty party left air fresheners and a note telling her she stinks. She later learned it was a prank from a friend.

Someone called the police concerned about a boy who wasn’t “wearing shoes” and “look[ed] dirty,” but the police verified the child was fine.

A border collie chased a handicapped man.

A man sitting outside a fast-food chain was given advice.

A man called the police because his housemate went into their basement and apparently didn’t come out. The roommate later emerged from the basement and “seem[ed] fine.”

Some children played an elaborate prank by moving cement barriers in the parking lot and playing on them.

An old truck’s windshield was supposedly smashed by a rock.

In perhaps a related case, someone threw a rock through a window at an undisclosed time during the night.

A thief stole sound equipment and suitcases from a cargo trailer at night.

Someone was watching a man repeatedly try to get up, only to fall down. The man told the police that he simply wanted to relax in the park.

A caller refused to give his name and hung up on the police after reporting a suspected case of animal cruelty. Before disconnecting, the caller stated there was a dog barking in a car with its owner.

A property owner believed that someone had slept in the carport and left in a hurry. However, he never actually saw anyone, and the suspicious discarded coat, sweatshirt and papers were picked up.
