Bonnie R. Hall, 76

On Sept. 12, 1942, a beautiful baby girl, Bonnie Raye Walker, was born in Wenatchee, Washington. She was the only child of Bonnie and Raymond Walker, but having a very close large family, all of her cousins were like siblings to her. Bonnie had a carefree childhood surrounded by much family, love, laughter and happiness. Her family moved a lot during her younger years, as times were tough and they followed the work wherever it led. They finally settled in Libby, Montana, in her high school years.

Later, after moving to Eureka she met the love of her life, Dan Hall. The two were married and enjoyed 45 years together. Bonnie and Dan traveled the world together and particularly enjoyed wintering in Kauai, Hawaii, and their many travels to Alaska. Following Dan’s retirement from Lincoln Electric in Eureka they traveled the U.S. and decided there was no place like home and settled again in the Montana they loved, this time in the Flathead Valley. Bonnie loved her home in Bigfork on Flathead lake and it was there that she passed away peacefully on May 8, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Daniel Hall, of Bigfork; two daughters, Jackie and husband Bob LeBlanc of Fortine, and Heidi Freemantle of Spokane; two grandsons, Robert LeBlanc of Los Angeles, and Aaron and wife Michelle LeBlanc of Chinook, Montana; two granddaughters Hannah and husband Nick Robertson of Brisbane, Australia, and Maya Freemantle of Spokane; and three great-grandchildren Austin, Paige and Chloe LeBlanc of Chinook.

Family was definitely No. 1 in Bonnie’s life and meant everything to her. Though she loved to work and enjoyed a long career in Human Resources with the U.S. Forest Service and Stream International, to name a few. She also obtained her real estate license to work in the Flathead Valley, as well as working as an insurance agent in the Kalispell area.

Bonnie was a very special person and if you wanted anything done well, you would put her to the task. She was a very “take charge, get things done” person, who rarely took no for an answer! She was also very adventurous and loved meeting new people on all of her travels. She loved all animals and they loved her too.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Raymond Walker, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

A bright light in our lives has dimmed, but the things she taught us and the unconditional love she has shown us will burn brightly in our lives forever. We love you and miss you so much!
