Water runs dry for woman

An employee called Kalispell Police Department to report a woman who was supposedly stealing water from a hose and filling a large water tank sitting in the bed of a gray pickup and refusing to leave when asked.

A father told police his son allegedly saw a person get out of a vehicle and approach a construction truck stopped at the light in front of them and believed they took a Sawzall, or something similar, off the back of the vehicle as it was pulling away.

A resident, who moved into a duplex, received a warm welcome when a neighbor requested extra patrol after claiming to see suspicious activity going on. The neighbor reportedly thought the activity could be drug deals because over a period of 30 minutes three cars allegedly pulled up to the residence and left “pretty fast” after getting there.

A woman at a brewery was supposedly agitated and started to growl.

An intoxicated man called police reportedly stating he was trying to provide payment and no one would accept it. A bartender purportedly got on the phone and said the man was being disruptive and wanted a receipt, which they offered, but he was not willing “to cooperate with their procedure.” The issue was eventually resolved.

A man reported the passenger side mirror was stolen off his car.

An employee reported squatters living in a room, but was unsure how they got in or how many people there were.

A woman claimed she had a recently purchased handheld GPS unit stolen out of her cart.

A drunk man with an open container was allegedly outside a store harassing people and being loud and rude.

Employees reportedly tried to get a man, who seemed to be homeless, out of a store because he was yelling at customers, swearing and refusing to leave. He was moved along and told never to return.
