Blues Society celebrates silver anniversary

The Flathead Valley Blues Society’s is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a Holiday Blues celebration Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Kalispell Elks Club and Events Center,1820 U.S. 93 S. in Kalispell.

Blues music will be provided by three blues bands, the Kenny James Miller Band, Moneypenny, and The Pleasure Kings, along with special guest appearances for a Flathead All-Star Blues Jam. The music starts at 4 p.m. with the finale jam at 10 p.m.

The event features a split-the-pot, raffle prizes, silent guitar auction, and commemorative 25th anniversary T-shirts. Enjoy barbecue from Knucklehead Barbeque, complimentary anniversary cake, and great blues music on the large dance floor.
