Woman worried about sci-fi technology

A woman told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office she was worried about another woman living in a U-haul vehicle who thought “people are using microwave rays on her.”

A man called the Flathead County dispatcher because he read on social media that a woman he knew was in jail in Libby. He thought this was “all fishy” and tried to confirm if she was in jail with the FCSO. They advised him he had to contact the Lincoln County jail but he “was not satisfied with any answers given.”

Someone left the keys to one vehicle in another unlocked vehicle, and these keys were stolen and used to steal the locked vehicle. The stolen vehicle was later retrieved.

A concerned citizen claimed speeding cars nearly hit children at a bus stop multiple times.

A Butte woman called the FCSO because she had seen a social media post about Shiatsu dogs reportedly being left outside in plastic tubs in Bigfork. She wanted to see if she could help the dogs but all she had to go on was a social media post with a picture of a dog. The FCSO told her they would need more information to help her.

A man with a pink backpack was removed from a shopping center after being previously asked to leave multiple times in the past few months.

Someone stole $1300 in cash from a store.

A woman said her son was “extremely intelligent but…using that intelligence for nefarious things.” She reported he was “out of control” and “tearing the house apart,” but “nothing criminal happened” that day. He had a hearing scheduled for youth court a few days later.

Someone found an automatic rifle casing glued to the inside of a dryer door and suspected it had been put there by the tenant who was getting evicted.

A homeowner returned home to find a notice about barking dogs on his door, but he informed the FCSO he doesn’t own dogs.

A man claimed he saw a woman driving a “bluish Subaru Outback” speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road every day on Empire Loop.

A man was found in the bathroom of a bar. The person who reported him said he “should not be there.” The intruder said he had permission to be there from the manager, but it turned out the person who found him was the manager.
