Bear just hangs around Whitefish

Someone on Suncrest Drive reportedly saw an adult black bear on a deck. The bear wasn’t getting into anything it was just standing on the porch. Whitefish Police Department alerted the neighbors.

Bones wrapped in a bed sheet were allegedly found in a gravel pile. BNSF Police took the call and learned that the bones in question were from a small animal and not human.

Kalispell Police Department reportedly instructed a woman and her guests to stay inside and away from a man standing in the street who she claimed was the Homeowners Association president and was videotaping them and threatening to burn her house down.

A woman allegedly yelled out a window that she was going to poison the yard to kill the neighborhood animals and another woman wanted the incident documented for her HOA.

Someone reportedly complained about a man stealing tomato plants.

A man reportedly asked his neighbors to turn down their music and they began to curse at him.

Motorcycles were speeding up and down the street with children who were not wearing helmets.

A later call came in about a four-wheeler driving on Woodland Drive with a small child on the back.

Someone saw a woman put beer in the trunk of a vehicle, only to drive to another parking lot and take it out. The person claimed she smelled of alcohol and almost fell over a curb while walking.

People were allegedly heard screaming at each other, possibly on Ford Way. The argument turned out to be between parents and their daughter “who left to spend the night at grandma’s.”

A woman on Sixth Street gave Columbia Falls Police Department photos of her stolen horse and said she already alerted the brand inspector. The horse was allegedly taken from Holt Stage Road in Kalispell, but she said it was suggested she tell Columbia Falls Police rather than drive to Kalispell.
