Argument in C-Falls ends in hug fest

| August 4, 2020 1:00 AM

Someone wanted Columbia Falls Police Department to know their friends got into a verbal argument on Seventh Street, but had “hugged and made up.”

Extra patrol was requested on Second Avenue when a man allegedly threatened someone’s caretaker that “he would have his father come shoot up the house and beat everyone up involved,” and it “would make it worse” if the caretaker called police. The man said all this before leaving in a green convertible.

An employee on Nucleus Avenue requested officers check on the welfare of a woman who was seen lying on the sidewalk, but was “moving around a bit.”

Residents on Clayton Lane allegedly were concerned that a man driving an older vehicle with tinted windows in the area was possibly “scoping out items to steal, or children,” because it was traveling slowly on a cul-de-sac, stopping and looking at houses.
