A Kalispell man died Wednesday after being involved in a motorcycle crash Sunday night.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the 49-year-old man was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Conrad Drive at about 8:50 p.m. when it crossed the centerline and drove into a ditch off the south lane.

After being taken to the hospital, he later died of his injuries Wednesday night.

Speed and alcohol are suspected factors in the crash. The man was wearing a helmet. His name has not yet been released by authorities.

It was the 117th fatality in Montana in 2020.
