Thief ‘blessed’ with a stolen bicycle

| December 3, 2020 12:00 AM

An orange trail bicycle with crosses, scripture and “be blessed” stickers on it was reported stolen when someone cut off the lock.

Someone reportedly told the Kalispell Police Department they were chasing a “methed out” man they found digging through the neighbor’s bushes and hanging around their garage. The person refused to stop pursuing the man, saying “I will protect myself and my property, whatever it takes.”

An employee allegedly spit on a woman and called her obscenities while she was waiting for her food in a lobby. The woman said she had no idea who the person was.

A welfare check was requested for a 14-year-old who was reportedly locked out of a residence on a nightly basis.

A teenager allegedly attempted to shoplift and became violent, assaulting a few employees and fleeing on foot.

A woman with a large bag reportedly was refusing to leave a location and was blocking other customers from receiving help. Officers counseled her about a license plate dispute and she moved along.

A semiconscious woman allegedly had her head down on a casino machine and hadn’t moved, prompting an employee to call for help. She reportedly had one mixed drink at the location and the employee thought she may be having issues with medication. The woman was unresponsive when medics arrived. When they administered Narcan she woke up, refused any more medical care and left.

An employee was concerned an intoxicated, upset and disorderly woman would return to the store.

A man, who wasn’t staying at a location, was reportedly hanging around on a back patio and approaching guests.
