Celebrate a Victorian Christmas at the Conrad Mansion

The Conrad Mansion has decked its halls in holiday finery for the holidays. The Conrad family loved the holidays and every December the community is invited to visit their family home and celebrate the Christmas season. With help from community volunteers, the grounds and all three floors of the mansion have been lavishly decorated. As you walk the festive halls, you will feel transported back to Christmas 1895.

Christmas Tours are available Dec. 2 to Dec. 27 (closed Christmas Day). There are two ways to visit the Conrad Mansion this Christmas season:

• Docent-guided tours: Wednesday through Friday at 1, 3 and 5 p.m. limited to 10 people per tour.

• Self-guided tours: The Conrad Mansion now offers self-guided tours, a wonderful way to experience a Victorian Christmas while social distancing. Tours are offered Saturdays and Sundays in December between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and are available every 15-minutes; limited to 10 people per tour.

All Christmas tour tickets are pre-pay only and available online at conradmansion.com. All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. All proceeds benefit the Conrad Mansion and its collections.

Through the cooperation of staff, volunteers and visitors and in addition to cleaning and safety protocols, the mansion had no reported cases of COVID-19 in 2020. Having existed for the last 125 years the mansion and has seen its share of troubles and triumphs in that time. With continued support from the public and its dedication to social distancing and health and safety guidelines, the Conrad Mansion will continue to serve as a splendid and educational landmark for the community.
