Anti-masker makes a scene at local business
Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies were on the way after an area business called when a man became irate over having to wear a mask. He had a 12-year-old girl with him, but her presence didn’t stop him from allegedly spitting on people in the store. The man was moved along.
Two juveniles out for a late-night romp at an area business drew a response from a trooper. The employee said they were jumping between the concrete planters and the concern was they could get hurt while engaging in the shenanigans.
A person driving home in the early-morning hours saw a woman draped over a mailbox. The woman was wearing slipper-like boots, tiny shorts and a top. She approached the driver as the vehicle drew near, but the driver was afraid to check on her because she thought she may have been under the influence. A check on the address showed it may be a short-term rental property.
A nurse at a hospital called when a patient in the emergency room needed a ride home after receiving treatment. The patient then got a ride.
Several 911 hangups were reported from the wee hours throughout the rest of the day. One was on Big Mountain, another on Conrad Drive, a third in Bigfork and others scattered throughout the valley. Three came from toddlers and two others were phone mishaps.
A Washington state native called in a confused state about being stalked on social media. The caller said she didn’t have a phone, was sleeping in her car and trying to find a job.
A woman passed out in a car drew the ire of a coffee shop employee after customers complained. The woman turned out to be fine and she moved along.
A woman wrapped in a pink plaid blanket knocked on a homeowner’s door at 5:30 in the morning and told her how pretty her Christmas lights were.
A motorist driving behind a white single-axle box truck was concerned a pallet of goodies may fall out because the back door was open.
In true Montana fashion a driver had run out of gas, but help was quickly on the way for him.
A dad said his ex violated the parenting plan when she picked up the kids in front of his girlfriend, who is allowed to get the children from school. He wanted a welfare check and said he’d call back with the mother’s full name and address.
A gun shop owner reported buying a firearm online, but never received it or a refund. She said she later saw the firearm on an online auction site. She was advised to file a civil complaint.
A caller’s mother lives nearby but she wasn’t at home when a barefoot man rang the doorbell, stared at the door and ran away. The device is also a video camera and they wanted an officer to see the video.
A dog lover found a small, black shivering canine in the street. When he called the number on the tag no one answered at first, but soon after the dog was reunited with its owner.
