Delivery man finds trouble on the doorstep
A delivery man alleged he was attacked and bitten by a dog after dropping off a package. The man asked the owner of the crazed canine for its records, but he refused. When the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office intervened, the man said the information would be available when his wife returned home from work.
The owner of a storage facility reported one of the renter’s units and a camper trailer were forced open. The owners of the property were going to see if anything was missing and make a report.
For the second time in six months, a homeowner had a mailbox post destroyed as well as a propane grill. A garbage can was also knocked over. He was advised to put a game camera up to determine who was doing the damage.
A man said someone dumped a load of garbage in his driveway. He was going to go through the trash in hope of finding a name associated with the refuse.
A car wash employee found two backpacks on the property. A sheriff’s deputy took them to the office for safekeeping.
A store manager called about two transient men who were yelling vulgar words at his vendors when they made deliveries. The men were living in a tent on the other side of a fence behind the store. The transients were not in the area when a deputy investigated. The store manager also had questions about a man who stole $400 worth of cigarettes. He was asked to provide the surveillance footage.

A woman called when she became aware of a stray cat that was stuck in her vehicle engine. When her husband tried to remove the feline it bit him. A bite report was made and a trap was set inside the garage in the hope the young cat would be caught.
A man from Washington who flew to the airport reportedly became irate when he tried to get the rental car he said he reserved. He was told there were no cars available. He said he was made to wait outside before a Lyft driver picked him up. An officer told him to make a complaint to the airport manager.
Someone reported a Malamute dog that had its collar embedded into its fur. The dog was licensed and the owner was advised to groom the dog.
A man who quit his job felt threatened by the owner when he wanted to take his tools with him. The owner did agree to allow the man to get his tools, but he doesn’t want the man to return to the property.
A man reported losing his 10 mm handgun while hunting. Unfortunately, the firearm was not turned in.
