Rascals pester neighbors with ding-dong-ditch

At least two people dressed all in black and wearing ski masks reportedly passed some time by engaging in the childhood prank, “ding-dong-ditch,” according to Kalispell Police Department reports.

A man allegedly saw someone stash a backpack under his porch that appeared to contain drug paraphernalia. The person later returned, asking for the backpack. The man sent video footage of the incident to the Police Department.

Nine people reportedly refused to leave a bar, pulled on the door and yelled at an employee. The group eventually dispersed and planned to wait on public benches “for the time being.”

At least four Christmas trees with white tags were dumped on a woman’s property. Officers made contact with the man who was responsible and he reportedly said he left them on top of an old pile of trees someone dumped last year and didn’t realize someone owned the property. He apologized and said he would dispose of the trees elsewhere.

A woman reported her son for allegedly damaging her bird feeder and trespassing on her property.

A panhandler reportedly was trespassing and creating a “hazard” where he was stationed on a sidewalk near the entrance of a store parking lot, according to an employee.

Someone parked a Jeep by mailboxes in front of someone’s house and left it running for 30 minutes.

Someone was upset that dozens of kids were allegedly doing burnouts by the Veterans Memorial at Depot Park. No one was doing burnouts by the time an officer arrived, however, the officer told the teens not to obstruct traffic and properly park their trucks in the designated spaces. Additionally, the group was told to tell their friends to stop doing burnouts.

A 1991 Toyota motorhome with yellow wheels was reported stolen.
