Another call came, possibly regarding the same man, on U.S. 93 in Kalispell where a woman in a large SUV allegedly sped into a parking lot and came to a fast stop when a bearded man jumped out. The vehicle left, but came back to get him.

The saga may have come to a conclusion when officers reportedly made contact with the vehicle on Swan Way in Bigfork. A woman was suspicious of a vehicle parked in her driveway for 10 minutes near Old U.S. 93 and reportedly thought the driver was “tweaking” as they were “bouncing all around.” The driver supposedly started the vehicle and tried to leave, but the vehicle was partially over the bank, which was a 20-foot drop and the woman didn’t think it would make it without a tow truck. The driver allegedly proceeded to drive around a tree and likely made it out, based on tracks to North Juniper Bay Road.

Kalispell Police Department received a report of a man allegedly breaking off tree branches. He claimed they were already on the ground and he was stacking them.

Someone’s children reportedly found a package full of syringes at a gate. Police collected the package for destruction.

Someone purportedly drove up to a drive-thru that still had its lights and “open” sign on, but no one was there. Officers checked out the building and found nothing out of the ordinary, just someone who forgot to turn off the sign.

A man dressed in mostly black was allegedly seen outside a restaurant on South Main Street screaming, “Are you next? Come on!” and then began flipping chairs in a patio area. An employee who saw the man reportedly thought he was “tweaking.”

A man was allegedly seen filling up a shopping cart with items from a donation drop-off behind a South Main Street building.
