Bigfork girls hoops blow out Troy, 51-8

TROY — Ansleigh Edgerton scored 16 points as the Bigfork Valkryies routed the Troy Trojans 51-8 in Class B basketball on Tuesday.

Edgerton added eight boards to her game-high points total.

Bigfork led 29-4 at the half.

Troy scored four points in each half.

Emma Berreth scored nine points and had four steals for the Valkryies.

Selah Neumann had a double-double as Stillwater fell to Flathead JV.

Neumann scored 15 points and had 13 rebounds.

Flathead JV led 15-11 at the half.

Alika Kubi was Flathead’s high scorer with 10 points.

RONAN — Whitefish’s Bodie Smith put in 20 points but the Bulldogs couldn’t overcome a stagnant third quarter against the Ronan Chiefs in Class A basketball.

Whitefish led 36-27 at the half but only managed five points in the third quarter.

The Chiefs outscored the Bulldogs 16-5 in that frame and 30-19 in the second half to edge the visiting team.
