Mom seeks advice about tattooed child

A concerned mother had questions for Flathead County Sheriff’s Office about what possible repercussions there might be after her minor child came home with a tattoo the child didn’t have parental permission to get.

A woman on U.S. 2 in Kalispell argued with a man she allegedly hit in the face multiple times. He reportedly kept yelling for someone to get the cops and claimed she was blocking the door. It was unclear if an assault occurred, but deputies provided both parties with voluntary statement forms.

Someone calling from Reserve Drive in Kalispell heard a woman screaming for help. The woman may have been assaulted by a boyfriend who broke her phone.

A caller from River Bend in Bigfork told officers a house apparently was struck by lightening and they saw “smoke coming from above the mud room and laundry room area,” but no flames. Charring was found in a ceiling area, which was opened up and cleaned out, and residents were advised to have an electrician look at it.

A Forest Hill Village resident in Kalispell told officers someone was pounding on his door and thought they were trying to break into the house. The resident believed one person may have been banging on the door while another person may have run around the corner and the door was open to a shed.

Someone calling from Seventh Avenue in Kalispell reportedly saw two men and a woman who were allegedly fighting near “graffiti rock.”

A vehicle was broken into on River Bend Drive in West Glacier and a few wallets, a backpack and “lots of cash” were stolen.
