No. 27148 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Flathead County Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: FDP-20-13 A request by Tom Cavanaugh on behalf of Montana Department of Transportation to reconstruct the intersection of US Highway 2 and Dern Road/W Springcreek Road. The project will include reconstruction of the existing intersection with a single-lane roundabout. Work will include excavation and grading necessary for the new approach, installation of a new concrete roundabout with curbs and gutters, paving with plant mix surfacing, pavement markings and signage. The project also includes sidewalks around the perimeter, crosswalks, pedestrian and bicyclist path. The project will occur on US Highway 2, at the intersection of Dern Road and W Springcreek Road in Section 14 & 15, Township 28 North, Range 22 West P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana.
