Man reportedly stabbed at Silver Bullet Bar

A 36-year-old man was allegedly stabbed in the neck early Thursday morning at the Silver Bullet Bar near Columbia Falls.

Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an assault with a weapon at approximately 12:38 a.m. Thursday and arrived to find the victim with a stab wound to the neck. He was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment, according to a press release from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies then located and arrested the suspect, Jay Dean Hardy, 29, of Columbia Falls. Hardy was booked into the Flathead County Sheriff’s Detention Center on a charge of assault with a weapon.
