Rita Jane Ralston, 89

Rita Jane Ralston, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2020 at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center due to complications from a stroke.

She was born Dec. 17, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Leo and Margaret (Mitchell) Fleming. She was married for 69 happy years to Henry Raoul Ralston, who preceded her in death on March 7, 2020. Rita and Henry moved to Kalispell in 1999 and loved to travel, attend concerts, cook and entertain. They had many dear friends and loved to work out and socialize at the Summit Fitness Center. Rita was an amazing woman with many talents and hobbies — gardening, cooking, painting and sewing, to name a few.

Rita is survived by her children Laura (Georg), Richard (Mary) and Lisa (Larry); grandchildren Athena, Michael, Christine, Andrew and Dylan; great-grandchildren Alexander and Colton; brother in-law Kurt (Judy); and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
