No. 27378 Whitefish Housing Authority/Owner's Representative/Project Manager/RFP-Q/For Publication/Legal Notice 11/13/20 Whitefish Housing Authority is seeking a construction manager/owner's representative to work with us in developing a 24 unit, for sale, environmentally and socially sensitive Townhome Development in Whitefish, Montana on land donated by the City of Whitefish (The Snow Lot). The project will be targeted to the 59937 area workforce. The construction manager/owner's representative will work with the Development Team (Whitefish Housing Authority/Housing Whitefish {WHA/HW}, the architect, general contractor, and the City of Whitefish) during preconstruction to identify cost savings in design and to price the project periodically during the schematic and preconstruction phases in order to deliver a quality project that stays within budget during construction. They will also work with the Planning Department, City Council, and the development team to obtain all planning and zoning approvals. During the construction phase the construction manager/owner's representative will work with the development team, the architect, and the contractor and will provide recommendations on the approval/disapproval of change orders, manage the construction budget, review pay applications, and track actual and potential change orders, etc. The outcome will be a project delivered on time and on budget to the satisfaction of the developer.
