Woman identified in fatal crash in Kalispell

Authorities have released the name of a woman who died in a fatal traffic crash last week in Kalispell.

According to Flathead County Sheriff/Coroner Brian Heino, 82-year-old Sheron Taylor, of Kalispell, died in a traffic accident which occurred the morning of Monday, Oct. 5.

According to information from the Kalispell Police Department, officers responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 93 south and Kelly Road.

One driver was unresponsive and died at the scene, despite life-saving efforts. The other driver was taken to the emergency room at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The department and Montana Highway Patrol are still investigating the incident.
