Michael 'Jay' St. Onge, 37

Michael “Jay” St. Onge, 37, passed away Aug. 20, 2020.

He was born June 14, 1983, in Libby to Michael Leroy St. Onge and Julie Hagen. Jay attended school in Libby where he made many friends.

In 2004 he joined the Army where had made a new family of Army brothers and sisters. He served for five years as a Patriot Missile systems technician.

He worked as a logger, as his dad did, and as a wind turbine tech and many other jobs.

Jay had a passion for the wilderness, climbing to the highest peaks, fishing with his Grandpa Cal, music, family, wanting to help whomever needed it.

Jay will be dearly missed. His best bud, as he put it, his Grandpa Cal St. Onge had the honor to baptize him. Heaven bound, he will be dearly missed.

Jay is survived by his father Michael St. Onge of Coram, his mother Julie Hagen; sister Lindsay Ray of Kalispell, sister Amanda Johnson; grandparents, Cal and Gerry St. Onge of Libby, Linda Stehlik of the Yaak; and many other family members.

A private service with military honors is planned.
