The Montana VA Health Care System has been selected as one of Montana’s top 10 best employers by Forbes.

The Montana VA was selected for the list because of its state-of-the-art new clinics and proactive response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May, the Montana VA was selected as the lead site within its VA region to increase face-to-face visits for veterans in the first phase of expanded care during the pandemic.

PIX The Rev. Alan Jensen has been named director of pastoral care for Immanuel Lutheran Communities. Before coming to Montana, Jensen served as the senior pastor at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Oro Valley, Arizona. Prior to Arizona, Jensen served parishes in Oregon for 17 years.

Originally, from Alabama, Jensen graduated from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Bexley, Ohio.

Andrew Shors, MD, has been providing Mohs surgery in the Flathead Valley for over four years. Sylvia Owen, MD, has been practicing general and surgical dermatology in Kalispell for 15 years. Starting in mid-September, Anaconda native Jordan Cook, DO, will also join Highline Dermatology.
