Kurt Wayne LaSalle, 52

Kurt Wayne LaSalle was born Sept. 11, 1967, to Erling “Dick” and Carrie LaSalle. He joined two older brothers.

He died April 12, 2020, after a long illness.

Kurt attended Trinity Lutheran and Flathead High School, graduating in 1986.

He married Cindy Huntsman in 1988. His daughter, Arrika Jade, was born in 1989. They divorced.

His daughter Sharise Michel Marie was born in 1994.

Kurt worked for the Dealer 's Auto Auction in Spokane for many years, coming home every weekend to spend with his girls. They spent many weekends camping, hiking etc. He returned to Kalispell. He did finish work for Ron Terry for several years, even his own house.

In 2013 he went to work for The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. He was maintenance manager of the condominiums at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, Erling “Dick” LaSalle.

Kurt is survived by his daughter Arrika of Bozeman, daughter Sharise (Kevin) Hendrichs of Layton, Utah, mother Carrie LaSalle of Kalispell, brothers Erling II (Margie) of Austin, Texas, and Eric of Kalispell, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service for Kurt will be at Trinity Lutheran Bible Camp, 450 Pierce Lane, Bigfork, on Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. A hike will follow on Crane Mountain to scatter his ashes.
