Man attempts high chair scam at store

A store employee told Kalispell Police Department a man tried to commit fraud by returning a high chair with the same receipt he used to return a different high chair last week.

Someone purportedly thought there was “strange traffic” in the neighborhood when a man and woman kept transferring packages between vehicles and another person came out of an apartment with fishing gear. The person said they didn’t think the person lived there.

Criminal mischief might have been underway when someone reportedly found an abandoned bicycle in front of a store and, on the side of the store, a spray can, pile of women’s clothing and graffiti.

A very intoxicated man went to a hotel lobby and slammed his hand on the counter saying he was waiting for a ride.
