Rock melting taken for meth making

| September 21, 2020 12:00 AM

A man, who reportedly melts rocks looking for gold, was suspected of making methamphetamine in his garage because a neighbor saw the windows of his garage “all filmed up from the chemicals” and told the Kalispell Police Department they saw him “cooking” the drug.

A woman was putting up a fence and a neighbor allegedly became agitated because they thought she moved a swing on their property, but she told police she didn’t touch it. In the meantime, the neighbor supposedly scared her and her children and wanted it logged for information in case something scarier happened.

Someone allegedly asked officers to check on two young children in a different unit because they heard a woman screaming at them for more than 40 minutes, noting that it happened at least once a week.

Someone reportedly watched a man “rip” a woman out of a white truck on Fourth Avenue East North.
